Whitby sunrise

The mornings are slowly getting earlier. It was just after 6am when the sun slowly started to rise over the North Sea.

It is worth the early start though, a wander through Whitby before the hustle and bustle of visitors.

The town slowly starts to come to life as the sun comes up, the fishing boats steadily making their way out of the harbour and seagulls beginning to circle.

I love that the views never get old, always a different sky or sea, or shade to the colours.
